Our Kindergarteners graduate tonight at 7:00PM. Congratulations to the Class of 2015 and best of luck in First Grade!
Parents of Kindergartners: please have your child to Future Scholars by 6:00 PM tonight in preparation for the graduation ceremony. After working hard for the past school year, next week our Pre-K and Kindergarten students will finally graduate! They have learned a lot and are more than prepared for Kindergarten and First Grade. Family members are encouraged to attend to see their little ones march down the aisle, perform songs and poems, and receive their diplomas.
We want to make sure that everyone has a wonderful graduation experience. If your child is graduating, be sure that you do the following BEFORE graduation:
On the day of your child's graduation, please have them at school at least one hour before their scheduled graduation time (be here by 10:00AM for Pre-K and 6:00PM for Kindergarten). This will ensure that the graduation ceremonies will start on time and run smoothly. Congratulations to the Pre-K and Kindergarten classes of 2015! The pre-schoolers had fun doing an experiment to find out whether items in their classroom would sink or float in water. Students took turns choosing an item to drop in a bucket of water after they predicted whether it would "sink or swim". They then separated their items into sink and float piles. This fun experiment taught children to think about the reasons why items might float or sink and helped to develop their reasoning skills. |
