 Our final field trip of the summer was a Junior field trip to the Discovery Museum! The Garden State Discovery Museum is a hand-on museum where kids are free to touch and play with all of the exhibits. It is the perfect place for children to explore science, be the hero of their own story, wear a chef’s coat for a day, or practice their on-air television skills.

For today's Cooking Class, the pre-school students in Room 11 popped homemade pop corn! They took turns counting kernels and placing them inside of the pop corn machine. Once it was full, we turned the machine on to watch the kernels burst into delicious pop corn!
 Last weeks we went on our biggest field trip of the summer--both our Junior and Senior campers went to Diggerland! Diggerland is a construction-themed park where kids have the chance to ride, and even operate, real construction machinery, from backhoes to excavators! Some of our teachers and Senior campers also had a chance to climb on one of the world's tallest ropes courses! After enjoying lunch at the theme park, campers ended the day with more fun and games in the arcade.
Our Junior campers' recent trip to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden was so much fun! From sharks to penguins, our campers saw it all! They even had the chance to pet sting rays and sharks.
