Today the Senior Campers' field trip was to the Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge. During an educational hike throughout the grounds, students got to see various animals currently living at the refuge and got up close and personal with some of them, including an owl, a snake, and a 3-legged turtle named Tom.
Not only did our students learn about nature, they also learned about how to survive in the wild. Working in teams, the campers built shelters out of sticks and other natural resources.
