Today our Kindergarten class carried on with one of our favorite annual Holiday traditions by visiting the Medford Care Center to sing Christmas carols and spread Holiday cheer to the residents.
All week, Room 6 was busy preparing for their field trip by painting and decorating Christmas ornament crafts, which they handed out as gifts to the residents when they arrived. Everyone was happy to receive a handmade gift from a student as well as a candy cane!
Once the gifts had been passed out, the Kindergarteners began their concert. They entertained the residents, as well as some students visiting from Lenape High School's Special Services, with songs including Jingle Bells, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. As the final song ended, Santa himself arrived and gave out some candy cane gifts of his own to the delight of our students.
