Next week our academic theme is "The Mitten" by Jan Brett, a Ukrainian Folktale about a lost mitten, which becomes the home for multiple woodland creatures including a mouse, a fox, and a bear. We will be reading the book and doing Mitten-themed crafts all week and this year we're adding another special activity to fit with the themed and give back to the community....
Beginning Monday, December 7TH, we will be collecting new winter gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves for children and adults to fill our "Mitten Tree". All items will be donated to the Burlington County Family Success Center in Mt. Holly and will benefit local families this winter.
